Harefield4Jess

Jess is an amazing year 3 child at Harefield Junior School.  She has neuroblastoma, a rare children's cancer that causes tumours. She calls her tumour Boris.  Boris is back for the 4th time.  Jess has just been accepted for a trial at the Royal Marsden Hospital. Once in remission she will need to travel to America for follow up injections.  This is not available on the NHS and will have to be paid for by the family, the estimated cost is £120,000.  The community of Harefield have got together and have arranged numerous fund raising events.

The online Gazette, Getwestlondonhas covered Jess's story and all the fund raising events happening in the Village to help support Jess.  Even Boris Johnson has sent Jess his best wishes when he found out she had named her tumour 'Boris'.
