The school is always keen to challenge itself and in recent years has achieved a number of national awards
Exceptional Schools Award
In 2012 we were the first school in the country to achieve this prestigious award for our work in education.
Basic Skills Award
The staff have monitored and supported children in improving basic skills (writing, reading and mathematics). We recently received our fifth accreditation.
We were delighted to get Green Flag Status in May 2011 and we recently achieved this level once again.
The NACE Award
We were awarded our re-accreditation in May 2011.There are less than 100 schools across the UK with this award and we are the first Hillingdon School to receive the award.
The Governing Body have worked extremely hard in gathering evidence of all the work they do in both the Infant and Junior school. The Governing Body is in the process of reapplying for this award.
The Investors in People Award
This award is in recognized of teamwork, training and staff development. This is our fourth accreditation.
Every Child Matters Award
The school achieved this award for the range of work on different levels it does with children.
The Artsmark Award
The school has been recognised for the high level in the Arts reached by the children. We have been accreditation four times.
Australian Government Award for Service
This was awarded to the school by the Australian Government on behalf of the National Veterans’ Association.
Walking Beacon School
This award for our work in supporting the environment in walking to school.
The Active Mark Award
The staff work very hard to make sure that all children can participate in regular physical activities, which are part of the PE curriculum as well as after school sporting clubs.
The Healthy Schools Award
This was for the work covered in PHSE, Citizenship, Healthy Eating, Emotional Health and Well-being, Sex and Drugs Education. We received the Extended Schools re-accreditation in June 2010.
